Anime tends to make kids forget about God and stop going to church.

you could have possibly based that on your personal experience. but in my case, my sibling, and the hundreds of young relatives and sibs of friends who enjoyed anime, they never lost their belief in God and continually attended mass. I can vow for that. just because you don't think it's right makes it absolutely wrong.
