not all muslims are terorrist. try to watch fahrenheit 9/11 and see who's the terrorist. I have so many muslim friends coz i studied in Mindanao State University in Marawi before. let's be fair to everybody. as we noticed that there are so many muslim professionals doing right.

my view on this topic:

it's unfair on the part of our muslim brothers to have been scrutinized and disciminated like that.. screw muslims.. screw americans.. heck screw everyone who's involved.. but too bad some people just can't help but put things in a general perspective.. professsor tells his muslim students to leave without even thinking of the consequences.. how would you feel if a muslim tells you "hey, you stupid catholics leave america and go back to the philippines and fix ur government.." talk about separation of church and state..

I think the professor should be reprimanded heavily. His letter was in bad faith judging from the fact that he is an educated man. And educated men know that the actions of few within a religion does not necessarily constitute the actions of the many. He should have been sensitive enough to understand that not all muslims are alike. I have many muslims friends who condemn the terrorist acts of their fellow muslims. Also if religion is his basis for judging people, then all Christians would also be evil because of the atrocities of the Christian leaders before us commited. It is unfair to judge such men based only on fear or hate for those of their same religion or race.

The article that lalakingbisdak also defends the muslim belief as well as the teachings of the Koran by stating "Are we to judge Islam by the actions of a few bigoted fundamentalist Imams and their followers or by quoting extreme passages from the Koran? Is that the only teaching of the Koran?"

Also another note, did you know that muslims look at Christians as people of the book which they hold as equals and treat with respect as if they are of their own.

OT: there seems to be conflicting evidence that it was not muslim terrorists who attacked the United States but rather was an internal ploy of the US government to declare a state of war against Iraq for numerous reasons such as the oil and the power to divert their funds towards the military budget. Also, before they started the war, Condaleza Rice issued a statement that they hold evidence to prove it was terrorists under Osama Bin Laden's command who attacked. But until now, no such evidence was presented.

What kind of evidence you want? You tell your reasoning to the marines, they may believe you. Maybe it was catholics or buddist who attacted 911? Thats what you mean?
