uhm share lng ko sa ako bag.o na rcv na scam og kato dli aware, be aware, specialy BPI c.card holder, ani na txt scam..
mao ni ang g.txt nako from "2327"
"BPICARD Your credit card is 3mos past due. Pls settle to avoid cancellation.
call 89100 dial 2,1 & and your card number for balances. This is a system message
Pls. do not reply."
mao na ang gtxt, hence wla man koy credit card unya bag.o pa jud ako number asta akong manghod naka dawat pud ato nga txt..
This looks legit. If you really want to know. Try calling BPI. Scams usually are sent from another person, who goes by Phony Attorney or Company name. The text in itself may appear as though it is trying to get financial info from you. But that text is system generated. The numbers are not regular phone numbers, unless these scammers have found a way to hack the Globe, Sun or Smart or whatever phone network you are using, which I highly doubt it. The text tells you not to respond to it because it is system generated. Lastly, your number may be one of those recycled numbers. As you know the networks are recycling old numbers that may have not been used by previous owners anymore. Your number may have belonged to someone who went overdue his credit limit and used that number as a POC.
