    that is what you call sleep paralysis. sometimes it runs in the family or can be caused by stress. its not harmful but most people get panic attacks when they wake up. you can minimize sleep paralysis by reducing stress, getting enough sleep, regular exercise and keeping a sleeping schedule, like what time to go to sleep and wake up. in sever cases, you might need to see the doctor.
