some SE phones are moddable too, like the k750i and the w800i...you can flash the w800i firmware to the K750i...mura ra ni cyag sony-ericsson version sa e398 and rokr...like the e398 and rokr, ang firmware lng ang difference between the k750i and w800i..their hardware is basically the same...

i've been keeping an eye also on k750i modding, as my sister has one.
SE forums at esato and particularly at forums.se-nse.net provides valuable info on k750i modding - HoFo is not much help.
And i can say, from a modders point of view, nga dili pwede ma-compare ang moddability sa K750i ug E398 - K750i modding is simply noobish.

hmm, which part do you disagree if i may ask? naa koy sayop nga nasulat?? and can you give me a little insight why it cant be compared?? pareho raman nga muflash ug firmware para mag mod sa k750i and e398.. they both gain a little performance boost or new features when done correctly IN THEIR OWN WAY....ang difference lng nila ky ang process sa pag modd.. mas kuti ang e398 compared to the k750i-->maybe thats y u say that its noobish..if you're a die hard modder then i think modding a k750i will simply be noobish for you...

motorola Rokr E2's design is simply childish, more like an over-grown mp3 player...and most importantly, it's specs are nowhere near that of the k750i or w800i...simply a waste if money--from my point of view, that is...

If you've modded both the e398 and the k750i, then you know what i'm saying.

oh yes w800i among his choices...or k750i ky mas nindot tan-awn("classy")..hehe...i think they're around 13k-15k brand new now(not sure)...great features and a good deal for the money spent.. :mrgreen:

To begin with, you just don't flash a Rokr firmware to the e398 - that will kill your e398 !

go for k750i, at your budget, you can buy a new one and an additional 512MB ms duo for upgrade. regarding the joystick, I have tried k700i (1.5 years-naa na sa ako ate), and 2 t68i's (both running 3 years old, isa sa ako ate nasad, ang isa sa ako uyab), all have joy stick, but all are running 100% as of the moment. ambot kung tsamba ra to.

mga particles ra ng nakababag sa joystick, try lng ninyo vacuum... ako suyop ra mn... then ok na ako joystick no need for replacement.... gahi lng button ang k700i ug k750i then lawom ang joystick sa k750i, mas prefer nako ang w800i(orange) or the europes D750i(blue) kay humok ug joystick and responsive then humok ug keypad...

N6680 sa ko ron kay gahi keypad k700i then la 3G....
