touche. but still with a degree of lameness, albeit.

let's stop this, mr.rodsky. let me and the others just get back to the topic. i'm sure these futuristic movies are way below your brainiac level. a lot of us here don't appreciate being made a fool by your smarter-than-thou remarks. if the idea or a post MAY seem scientifically improbable to your "standards", could you at least say it in a nice way? that way, we won't be offended. i respect your intellect, mr.rodsky, but i'm having a hard time respecting the person possessing it. i want to respect you as a person, mr.rodsky. i really want to. and so i apologize for any offense i may have caused you, mr.rodsky.

back to the topic: does this futuristic movie count? TIMECOP.

lighten up chief... i wonder when was the last time you had a good laugh...
That's the beauty of democracy--you have the power to choose and select what you want to watch and what you don't want to watch.

As to having a good time and good laughs, my girlfriend takes care of that department very well

Now I perfectly understand why some of you guys are so fascinated with Hitler and totalitarianism--you seem to want people to behave in the manner you wish them to behave.

So essentially, this is your goal. You basically want to "change" the way I post in the forums. I'm terribly sorry, but we do not live in a totalitarian state, and thus, enjoying this freedom, I shall continue to post as I see fit.

Precisely. Which is why I am still free to post in the manner by which I wish to post. Curtailing that freedom would be a slap in the face to the democratic process. If you want people to change their habits and ways to suit your liking, then you're not really for democracy, you would perhaps prefer a totalitarian system where everything goes along smoothly according to your will and wishes.

If your idea of "pastime" is to make fun of and "gang up" on people who do not think like you (and thus make some vague references to some other forum and attempt to equate the likes of me to people in that other forum) or do not abide by what you feel to be the "right way" to post in iStorya, then by all means, please, continue to do so--it will prove to be a good opportunity to observe such rituals in iStorya.net, perhaps even helping me understand more about such "virtual social pacts" that you and others with similar opinions as yours make. And as such is the case, do please continue.

i guess peace talks are off eh, mr.rodsky? very well. you don't understand anything about delicadesa or good manners. i ain't fascinated with Nazism. but you're so fascinated with space it seems your head is so full of it: space. you seem to want people to think in the manner you wish them to think.

and essentially, your goal is to find faults at people's posts and use it to humiliate them. do you have a fetish at proving people wrong sir? enjoy your freedom, mr.rodsky. i shall continue to enjoy mine perfectly well.

one last thing, if you're so smart, what good does it do to you? so that people will praise you, is that it, mr.rodsky? well, conceited men hear nothing but praises.

in truth, you are the God here in the Science threads and it is only fitting that we worship you.
    all hail, Rodsky the Brainiac.

If everything you said were true, then I wouldn't have had posted what I posted about 2001: A Space Odyssey in the calm, collected manner that I did. But in fact, I did post that in the same, usual manner I use in all my posts in iStorya.

You have every right to express what you feel about the situation, otherwise, iStorya.net wouldn't be operating the way we all wish for it to operate. At least seeing threads that still allow discussions that rubberband between formality and frivolity such as this, does hint at a health and robustness that some other forums sadly lack, so I guess it's a point to be happy about.

wow... really... are you sure you are not looking at a mirror, chief? i think what you are saying is very applicable to you... you just "curtailed" the democracy of the thread with regard to movies that gives us hints...not einstein-esque reality that you are pushing... as i mentioned before, lighten up....

rodsky is another jesus in the making... the sad thing is that, people around you are not dumb to believe you are right like the friggin apostles...
