What will be the perfect DSLR Camera for a NEWBIE like ME?? HELP

Pixelpro and Camerahouse. YOu can also try MarkYap (though it's on order-basis btw).
I suggest you go get it from Axisglobal. It's more cheaper there and they can give out a worldwide warranty for your camera.

BTW, Oympus has a service centre here in cebu, it's located in mandaue, near that big wine factory / distillery.

I have an Olympus E510 last march and still works wonders for me
on the other hand on my experience with axis global cebu was like....
I went there to have my camera checked for some noticeable debris in the focusing screen
and the guard manning the main facade asked, "sir naa ka appointment?" I replied "yah im here to have my camera checked"
then he issued me a visitors' pass and told me, "sir dili raba pwede ang camera sa sulod"
hahah I mean dont you get the irony?
anyway my cam actually did turn out fine courtesy of a kind stranger I happen to bump into later on that day at photoshoppe baseline. he simply removed the focusing screen and cleaned it from debris and problem solved which on the other hand, the axisglobal technicians was scratching their head and suggested to leave my camera so they cud figure out the problem.

bottom line: service sucks here for olympus!!!

i agree with one of the replies, if your friends are using nikon go with nikon. kung canon bai, then that's the brand for you! nindot man gud kay you have a lot of insights & ideas na makuha and ma share from your group! for a beginner, go for the nikon d80 or canon 450d!

ug ang imong budget pang d40 lang ok nana siya para sugod ka ug piktyur-piktyur... sigurua lang nga basa sab ka ug basic photography tutorials para imo jud magamit ug sakto bisan ug dili mahalon imong cam nga mapalit..... mao rana akung tampo para nimo

basta once maka palit na ka ug camera, shoot gyud. :P

I would suggest you get a Canon 450D kit or a Nikon D60 kit. Ok na xa para sa mga newbie.
