Pacman and politics do not match. Pacman and boxing do.

I hope Manny heeds the advice of his close friend DENR Sec. Lito Atienza not to run for congress in the upcoming May elections. I pray that amidst the fame and fortune that is showered upon him, that he can find a time to stop and ponder about his decision and realize that the best thing for him to do is to hone his skills not in the political arena, but in the boxing ring, where he is really good.

Being a public servant does not mean that you should be an elected official. There are a tons of ways to help your country and besides, the pride and joy you have given because of your victories is enough service to the Filipino people.

who can stop Pacman anyway, if he wants to run for a position? Nobody and nothing: he has the money, the fame, the base ... if a dropped out became a president here in our country, then even a boxer can! I just hope he will do much better for his constituents!

I pray that he does not push through with his bid for a seat in office but if he does run, I hope the people in Saranggani province have the good sense to know which candidate to vote for.
