bro, this is not to offend you. just an opinion. CMS' is totally different from PHP. Working on CMS' need to have advance knowledge like PHP (if you really want to handle professionally at your own style) or depends upon the language it was developed or intend to support.

ang post man gd is about which is better para sugdan og kat-on. den ning escalate sa mga replies about sa ilang mga nakat-onan nga klasi2x nga cms. so dira ko ning respond. nga it's better to stick to one cms (para lang nako ni, kanang mga super cyan pede daghan ilang kat-onan ^^). den i asked myself kung mukat-on pa ba ko anang drupal/joomla karon nga nag sugod pa kog php, i mean daghan jod kapilian nga field, so my advice is stick to one and be d best in that field. i did not say nga drupal/joomla is more or less php i hope i got myself clear already.

og sa katong ako lain nga thread, wala ko nag sulti nga master na ko sa ato na mga languages, just a solid understanding of the basics/foundation. C JAVA and PHP are pretty much the same.

It really depends on the type of web apps you want to develop. If you want simple and quicker, go for joomla else if you want to more complicated functions and more customizations then go for drupal. I suggest start with Joomla then study drupal next.

Drupal is the best, Joomla sucks since it still uses mambo core...

for me, its better to create your own platform than use a 3rd party, then again it's just me!!

couple months ago i was so frustrated when i work in joomla, my client ask me to create a site using a cms so i build cms from ground up for 2 days, then suddenly he choose joomla, when i started porting some of my codes to joomla, then behold, the backend is not straight forward, i would rather use wordpress, just adding a menu it took me to create a couple of settings....

drupal is a bit technical but atleast drupal is drupal unlike joomla trying to be somebody but deep inside it is still mambo... you see I REALLY HATE MAMBO


joomla is ok if use OTB but if you customize it?, good luck... not for the faint hearted...
