I often wonder why, when someone physically attractive dies, there's always a "sayang, gwapa ra ba unta" phrase that usually accompanies remarks...why man? Sayang because what? Can I list down my theories here?

a) Sayang, kay if you were a guy, you wanted a chance to get her to become your girlfriend and have *** with her kay gwapa siya ug sexy?

b) Sayang, kay if she continued in her career path, she could have used her physical beauty to climb the corporate ladder and become a successful career woman?

I wanted to "lay the cards on the table" about this phrase "sayang kay gwapa ra ba" kay, in essence, mao nga mabaw kaayo ang pananaw nato sa atong kaugalingon sometimes, and we feel that physical beauty is always above intellect and is the surest way to "success" or "pleasure". Mao sad, nga because of this, companies that sell "Skin Whiteners", "Facial Cream", and "Slimming products" are always selling and selling well. But it's all a lie man sad--most physically attractive people belong to the mesomorph category of body builds--thus if you are of endo or ectomorph build, and born dark-skinned, that's you and you can do nothing about it--just learn to accept it and appreciate yourself for what you are.

Now going back to those who are fond of saying this phrase--you mean to say, if pangit ng girl ang namatay, ok ra kay pangit man? *shakes head*

Dili ra man na sa guapa oi. Kadtong nag training ko sa punerarya, naay cadaver gisulod sa punerarya that morning, the guy died from a motorcycle accident. I looked at him and it was weird that his face didn't have a single scratch. He laid there on the slab like he was just sleeping. I looked at his face and he was actually quite handsome. and we could not make any comment unless speculative on
something not seen or known.
Most comment comes from the observers and most of the time
they don't really know the total attributes of that person.
i.e sayang kaayo kay bright man na siya, but being bright requires
that you should be with that person at school or otherwise know
that person closely, a neighbor perhaps.

Their should be a basis of regrets in making such comment
and the one thing that comes to mind is the apparent
which is the physical feature, thus "sayanga nga naniana
