I found this completely riveting to watch. And with great performances from all of the players. And at some point I like the framing, the tightening up slowly on character's faces. I'm n0t sure if Mike Nichols is a trendy director, but I do know he is a veteran and I enjoy his previous works that I've seen. But I guess it only does get trendy if he starts using the rack-focus, and I don't seem to remember that being used in the movie.

Very entertaining. Especially the chatroom exchange between Larry and Dan, and the ultimate payoff, it is foreshadowed but very subtly in the beginning. A nice little twist in the end. Although why the character did it? Never quite clear what her motives were for doing it, but you'll know what I mean when you see the film.

It's worth watching. If n0t, a rental.... One of the best of 2004

and I wonder if Natalie actually flashed what was under her panties during the shoot with Clive Owen literally just obscuring her privates from camera, or... I don't know how they did that but that scene kinda makes me squirm when I think about it.

i loved it loved it loved it loved it to death!

the movie was really pretty, not just because of the pretty people in it but because of the cinematography too. how the scenes were arranged, the colors. i also really liked how there was only one (pop) song used in the entire movie. all the other scenes were instrumental or classical opera.

it's all about how people screw each other, how *** is more than just pleasure but a means of revenge, guilt, manipulation. it's about how *** means just about nothing, and just about everything.

i loved natalie portman's character, the only sane one, the one with 'deep inner strength.' and her face is perfect.

whew paspas kaayu ang story......basta naglibug nako! may gani kay naa si natalie protman kon wala pa nakatulog na jud ko! pero murag familiar kaau ang storya sa mga tagalog nga movies! diba?

not a "thumbs up" movie... but lingaw ko.. nice pud ang body ni natalie...

ngano ang mga pinoy dili man kamao mo acting pariha sa cast ani mga movie uy...
