    @cool_guy:
There is no doubt bai that hydrogen be used as a fuel either by combustion or used in a fuel cell. The article even sites that the electrolysis is one of the least efficient way of producing hydrogen. There is no mention of a car in that article that is run by water, it is run by hydrogen produced from an external source i.e fossil fuels or green energy like wind mills and etc.

Try and research about the entropy and the laws of thermodynamics and you will understand why electrolysis and combustion of hydrogen in a system to generate power is just not possible. It maybe hard to understand what entropy or thermodynamics at the beginning, i had a bit of a hard time on that Chemical Engineering days, but it will light the way for you.

Sa akong nahibaw-an, in splitting the hydrogen and oxygen sa water is you need a nuclear fission to split the atoms.

You're confused. They're splitting the MOLECULES not the ATOMS. One way to split water molecules is apply electricity thru it which is simply the process of electrolysis. However that process is so inefficient.

If you will research on the interwebs you will be flooded with information on alternative energy sources, and fuels. My best guest is, Dingle is using a variant of HHO gas or Brown's Gas, it is quite easy to make, but inefficient.

Talking about water fuel, a team in Japan Genepax Co Ltd, has invented a new kind of fuel cell system that uses water as fuel.

The key is their WES cell, but their a bit privy about it. Hope this thing isn't another hoax.

You can read an article about it here:

    hey, whats gasoline for?

why invent water fueled car when there is gasoline..

    xD

I think no need to explain. Just read the news on oil prices.

    Okay.

I thought they are splitting atoms.

@ moz, hehehe thanks for correcting, I really thought that fcx is running on water but running on pure hydrogen and it needs a hydrogen filling station unless one can afford the home energy station that can power up his own home as well.

Back to dd's new invention, I was wondering why he has to build it in baquio when I knew he was from ilo ilo?

nag post ko dire sauna ug documentary... "who killed the electric car?"

daghan ta makat-onan ato nga documentary...

YouTube - Who Killed the Electric Car? Part1
