if i remember my minor subject, psychology 101, this is termed as "hero-worship." people tend to venerate that whom they regard as higher than them. be it a pope or a celebrity. there's this sense of awe or wonder that to be graced by their audience, some people can't hold back their joy by crying.

hhhhhhhhhhmmm nice one. and that's what i mean.

The Most Holy Father. Worthy for the title, yes, as the Vicar of Christ here on Earth. If you cant accept that, keep it to yourself or go and change how the world, perceives it.

The President worth to be called President taken from the word Presiding?
Is the Prime Minister worthy to called the first of ministers? is here the first?
Is the Queen of England worthy to be called her majesty, is she majestic?

    Ugh.

the pope is still just a man. there's nothing holy about him anymore than holy water can actually cure your upset stomach (would you drink something from a font that's been exposed to mosquito wrigglers?). now that's the yuck.

well, if you ask me, the current pope doesn't look holier compared to the last one.

no offense meant. It's just that he has been rubbing people the wrong way ever since he started work as the new pope. the papal infallibility stuff is also being questioned now because of what he accidentally says here and there.

nobody is indeed perfect. nuff said. that's why i still pray for those in power and in the right positions to help curb corruption and prevent scandals even in the vatican.

even today the vatican is still trying to silence the *** scandals involving the priests.
