I dont intend to do OC but when i checked my CPU temps when playing games and then in maximum settings it reaches to 80C which i think its hot. Ok ra na mga bro? Or kailangan gyud ko mag heatsink even if dli ko mag OC?

yeah, check na taud tarung ang heatsink. murag mao mana siguro rason sige sa abnormally high idle temps.
bitaw, kay grabe ra kaayo maabot 70 degrees. Luag guro imo heatsink. And Butang ug mga chasis fans. Dapat sakto ang airflow. Unya nalang to ang bago nga heatsink and power supply kay basin masayang ra imong pagpalit. Murag default sa BIOS mu-shutdown at mga 75 to 80 degrees
Right now, im testing my VC with another comp with the same specs i've mention above. I played with Call of Duty 4 with the maximum setting ang 4x AA. So far wa pa hinoun mag shut down ug iya ang computer. Ill try to check within a hour. If it doesnt occur, im safe to say that my VC is in good condition. Im trying to isolate the problem.
Heatsink placement is okay, ill also double check it and maybe clean up some dust inside my rig.
there are two possible culprit: 1st, your PSU can't deliver enough power to your PC. 2nd, try to check your CPU cooler if it is mounted properly. if not remount it and use a good thermal paste.![]()
Im not familiar with thermal paste, where can i buy those?
Thanks bossing.. im going to test my rig tonight. Though im still waiting for my PSU.. ill check my stock heatsink if its loose.
What the... I just cleaned up everything. I removed the stock heatsink and then clean up the dust and re-wired my rig.. and then the temp that i get is way higher than it was before. The CPU 84C and its CORE0=93C, CORE1=92C. Did i do something wrong?
