The best example of country that without the strong military will succumb to its internal and external enemy is "Israel".

Default Army deploys another battalion vs ‘lawless’ MILF groups in Sarangani

    I just read this.

The Philippine Army has reinforced its troops Saturday in operations against Moro Islamic Liberation Front groups blamed for attacking Maasim town in Sarangani province last August.

More than 40 military vehicles from Compostela valley province arrived in Sarangani Saturday. The troops and their equipment were of the Army’s 25th Infantry Battalion (IB) and were to be deployed to Maitum town.

Maj. Orlando Rodil, 25th IB commander said they are reinforcements for the operations against the 105th and 107th Base Commands of MILF led by Commander Alu Binago and Commander Jayon Sagilan-Aguilar respectively.

“Our purpose talaga (really) is to enhance security of the province and to better address the threats against these lawless MILF groups or LMGs as we term them,” said Rodil.

Charges have been filed against the two MILF commanders along with 48 of their followers for the August 18 attack in Maasim which left two civilians killed, stores ransacked and two houses burned. The town hall and police station were also attacked.

“[There is] ongoing law enforcement operations against the perpetrators of previous incidents. We are not against the MILF per se but against the LMG,” Rodil also clarified.

Residents meanwhile welcomed the arrival of the Army battalion.

They said they expect peace and order to return with the arrival of the reinforcements to Army units that are already in the province which include 27th IB led by Lt Col. Joshua Santiago and 73rd IB led by Lt. Col. Edgardo de Leon.

The residents said they can now sleep better knowing that “lawless” MILF groups would find it difficult to attack them.

i think we all know what the government should do to elliminate those low life bastards. the only effective way is totally, physically, elliminate them. have all the soldiers walk from lanao to zamboanga and bombard all the camps of those rebels. have all the spy network detect those infiltrators and civilian posers. KILL them all! they are just using the peace talks and ramadan as a shield. hutd na intawn na sila oi.. ambot unsa lng sad ning gobyerno nga lisod man kaayo na buhaton. not unless naay nagprotektar ana nila and nangwarta!
