Asus EEE, Acer Aspire One, MSI Wind, HP Mini Note? Which UMPC to choose?

if you have a desktop or a bigger laptop for your serious computing work, then a mini-notebook is best for client presentations, traveling, web-browsing and basic office works while on the go.

these are my reasons why i am in he market for a mini-note. been doing the rounds at SM-Cebu and had the opportunity to go around SM-Megamall last saturday in search for the best mini-note on the market.

i limited my search to these specs - 10" screen (because i primarily use ACad), an Atom processor, at least 5hr battery life, 20K budget, upgradable HD and RAM up to 4G.

the Asus EEE 1000HE came closest to these specs except the price. it cost 24K, and is a bit above my price range. still need to buy an external optical drive. the next best option would be the HP 1000 but it's 2 hour battery life turned me off. it's priced only at 19K but there is no battery upgrade option as of now. the HP has a great screen and keyboard, better than the Asus, but the Asus has a better batt life (6-7).

I may have to wait until the Asus price goes down in a couple of months or when the HP gets a battery upgrade. i don't think a mini-note worth 20K above is worth it, considering my intended usage.

MINE IS MSI U100...ganahan ko sa specs.not too small.mine has the extended 6 cell bat. but i want the asus eee pc HE. not available diri sa amo.no objection sa lain nga netbooks, though.

if u happen to visit Singapore, if u want to buy gadgets, especially laptop, netbook, psp, ds, email ko kay dia work sa wholesaler..pwede ta kamo hatagan discount...

ang kusog karon is ACER Aspire One netbook kay 17,000 pesos lang basta cebuano...
specs: Intel Atom 1.6ghz, 10.1" screen, 160gb HD, 1gb DDRAM, webcam, wifi...etc
