If dili ka heavy gamer.. it's pretty decent unya u can always add in a dedicated videocard when prices come down on items (like HD4850)

    Athlon X2 6000+... Windsor core....murag 125watt ni siya @ 3.0Ghz.
Akong ma suggest is katong brisbane core para 65watt (Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Black Ed pwede ma OC to 3.2Ghz with a multiplier setting lang)
You would need to buy a heatsink though.

imho... if integrated ra imong videocard... u can survive with a generic PSU... wala man kaayoy load imong system (unless you go for that 125watt CPU).

Pero if you want to be on the safe side... better get a decent PSU... daghan man "cheap but good" brands karon.. like AcBel... At least ma utilize ni nimo down the line when ur gonna upgrade to the New CPU's (deneb) and Videocards (HD4xxx) . i don't even wanna mention Phenom karon... Draws too much power and clocks so low so it performs poorly against Intel's Core2.
That pretty much sums it all up. Good advice bro!

^wla jud na blema sa watts bro.. mo dagan ra jud na ang emo board na g.mention as long as compatible lng nya ang proc... i think what vipvip is trying to suggest is that low wattage proc are far more better than the hungry ones(like the old windsors w/o energy efficient editions),... lesser wattage,. lesser heat,.. more headroom for OC,.. lesser bill sa veco,.. hihihi,..

actually bro i started with this system
    gigabyte ga-ma69gm-s2h
    5000+ black edition
arctic cooling freezer 64 pro hsf
    transcend 2x2gb ddr2 800
    seagate 250gb
astone enforcer case w/ 500w psu
2xsilverstone fm121 fans for the side panel and rear

the generic psu served me well for a month or so
    when i bought my 9600gt
replaced my psu with a silverstone st50f

all in all spent like more or less 30k on my system
took me almost a year to complete the whole system
hinay2x lang bro until maka complete ka sa system

    @ bootbox:

    hinay-hinay lang...

    ako gibuhat lain sad:

nangutang ko sa emcor with the ff. specs:

    E4500
    Asus P5S-MX SE
    1 GB DDR2 667
    80 GB
    7200 GS 256MB DDR2
    Samsung DVD+-RW
    AOC 716Vwy LCD Monitor

1st month: bought another 1GB RAM,
3rd month: Added 250 GB hard drive (was planning on RAID pero sayangan ko sa space)
5th month: sold the 1 GB RAM, bought a 2 GB RAM 667 (single channel raman akong mobo, might as well ) also replaced chassis with Luster, added 2 x 120mm side fan
6th month: sold the 7200 GS, replaced with 8600 GT
7th month: ST50F PSU (karong august 30th pa ni.)

next projects: replace the mobo, replace stock HSF

mao ni hinay-hinay lang kay limited ra jud ang budget. hangtod karon gabayad pa ko sa Emcor kay bisan unsaon di man jud ko kapalit ug kausa ra.

    @poldopunk
at least napurma na gyud nako ako rig
its really not what i exactly wanted but this was all i can muster with the budget i was given
over na gani ko sa budget

    @TS
careful planning lang gyud na bro
start with a system na imo magamit for the mean time
don't skimp on parts if you want your system to last
make room for it to grow
