Battery Grip What can you say about them

bro mark, i have an ownuser grip for D40. i have 2 en-el9a batts but they do not have the same capacity. i bought the replacement one from Gizmo. the other one is the original battery from Nikon. is it safe to put them together in the battery grip even if they do not have the same mAh specifications? what i usually do is just put one battery at a time before i can confirm from a reliable source that it is safe to do so.

yes it is safe for both... brands...no problem...besides you can use the switch to select manually battery a only and battery b only if you want to be sure

fantastic ergonomic wise, without teh grip my little finger had nothing to hold on to and the extra weight sorta gives my camera a little bit more balance, doubles your battery life. cons though is when im using it with my 70-200mm f2.8 for just about over an hour of taking pictures sore na akong kamot (stripped off the neck strap and replaced it with a grip strap man gud :/) other than this con, highly recommended

actually try using the camera with 70-200 2.8 without the grip, mas sore pa hinuon imo kamot ana coz di man balance...

what do you mean with switching and selecting manually between A and B mark? im using the one for D40/X/60. the only switch here is the OFF-ON-DC-IN.. however, when i placed the two batteries (en-el9), it worked. and when i switched it to DC-IN also, it still functioned.

havent tried it without teh grip, but ill take your word for it whats making it sore faster is teh grip strap, with the neck strap ako i higot sa akong kamot sa una para ang weight naa sa akong elbow, samokan lang gyud ko sa neck strap :/

i emailed OWNUSER and they replied rightaway. they told me, i can use both batteries of different mAh capacity together in the grip as long as i use two batteries of the same VOLTAGE RATING. thanks sir mark for the idea.

i have yet to check how long does the two batteries last.

My reasons for getting the Battery Grip.
1. It really make things a lot easier if you want to do Portrait.
2. Extra battery storage is a HUGE bonus especially for a Photo walk
3. I'm one of those peeps out there who's notorious for camera shake-the weight helped a lot.

nindot ug naay battery grip, mura gyod ka ug photographer tan-awon labi na ug naka mount sa imoha DSLR ang SB600 or SB900 speedlight.... hehe, unya gamit sad siya gyod ang battery grip in your daily photo activities... plan to buy if naa na budget....
