no for now. but abolish pork barrel.
for our future, emphasis should be on federalism or something like that. the US is presidential bicameral, Canada is parliamentary. both are economically successful, and both are federal. a centralized government works best only in a homogeneous and small population countries, but ours has a large and culturally diverse population. it seems that a centralized system easily breaks down from internal forces because it can be taken down from one point only. just like what's happening to us now that every full moon the people of Manila goes lunatic the whole country is brought into a wild spin.
