sayon ra pud ang tubag bro og ikaw lang ang naglibog.
its only God who can say because its His own eyes who can see it.
In the bible its God who can tell who's perfect or not, not even our own because even ourselves don't know what's in our heart.
So ako usbon, ang Ginoo ra ang makasulti kung kinsa ang perfect kay kung ang tao mismo ang muingon nga perfect siya kay walay nahibaluan sa bible.

"kindly describe the meaning of PERFECT.. PLS LANG..."
    in the bible it said:

1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
    Job 1:1

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
    2 Timothy 3:17

so to be called or be seen perfect by God is to follow and fear HIM and do all good works that HE commanded to us.

A perfect person in the eyes of God is a follower of His words even no one has seen his/her works.
That perfect man will do the will of God in public and in private, no hypocracy.

    Peace!
ok so then you are perfect.

and one thing wala ka kbaw whats inside your heart? you dont know your mistakes? arent you even aware of the things you did na dli ka mkbaw sa sud sa imu heart? wow. thats how you sure you are huh?!
sayup npud ko if i say im sure in the EYEs of GOD dli ko perfect? coz im sure what im seeing inside my heart is the same thing what God is seeing..

so you're really saying that you are perfect in the EYES of GOD?

Not upon his/her own work/merit (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Note here that I am dichotomizing a two-fold event: justification and sanctification. These might be theological jargons but are essential when it comes to the discussion of a man's situation when he is reborn/born again into God's kingdom. Not that he/she becomes sinless, i.e., perfect, but sinning less and less and less. Justification is a ONE-TIME event: the moment a person receives Jesus Christ's final and complete work on the cross as the means of the forgiveness of his/her sins. Sanctification is a life-long process wherein the person is being made holy (and should I say being made perfect in a sense) every single moment of his/her life. That person can only achieve sinless perfection when Jesus Christ returns -- freeing His believers of the presence of sin, thus making them perfect; or if that person dies and goes to God's Kingdom.

I would prefer "declared righteous" solely by Jesus Christ's atoning work, rather than "perfect". I am not faultless, I still sin you know.

In God's eyes, I am righteous (Him looking down on His own Son's righteousness and not mine). You might take me as being arrogant, but my claim is on the basis of the finished work of Christ and not out of my own goodness, thus earning His favor.

    Peace

well said sir. very well said..

though according to RCRUMAN. you can be perfect base sa bible by simply FEAR GOD, FOLLOW HIS WAYS, with that you can be perfect. so i supposed even if you sinned bsta you fear GOD lang you can be perfect.

aspirations can never get the job done. it is action, milady. the man called jesus reached perfection when he attained Christhood. prince siddharta reached perfection when he attained Buddha-hood.

perfection can be done. it just takes a thousand lifetimes of rebirths that may lead to Awareness and Self-Realization.

Hmmm a comparison between Hinduism/Buddhism and Christianity.

Christhood is not a position to be attained but a title.

From the Greek word "kristus" it is the N.T. equivalent of the O.T. term "messiah" and means "anointed one." It is applied to Jesus as the anointed one who delivers from sin.

As the Christ He has three offices: Prophet, Priest, and King. As Prophet He is the mouthpiece of God (Matt. 5:27-2 and represents God to man. As Priest He represents man to God and restores fellowship between them by offering Himself as the sacrifice that removed the sin of those saved. As King He rules over His kingdom. By virtue of Christ creating all things (John 1:3; Col. 1:16-17), He has the right to rule.

Christ has come to do the will of the Father (John 6:3, to save sinners (Luke 19:10), to fulfill the O.T. (Matt. 5:17), to destroy the works of Satan (Heb. 2:14; 1 John 3:, and to give life (John 10:10,2. Christ is holy (Luke 1:35), righteous (Isaiah 53:11), sinless (2 Cor. 5:21), humble (Phil. 2:5-, and forgiving (Luke 5:20; 7:48; 23:34).

Sin is dealt with, so one need not to undergo a series of rebirth or reincarnation, for there is none in the first place. Just as a man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment (Hebrew 9:27).

A man who have come to the realization that he/she cannot by his/her own effort pay or even undo for the wrongdoings he/she has done throws himself at the mercy of God.

God provided the way, and that way is though Jesus.

From the thread Are You Proud to be Catholic...page 9...post #125 from rcruman:

"Ginoo ang nakahibalo, og ang basehan kay standards sa Ginoo dili standards sa tao og standards nimo.
Kay kung ikaw ang pangutan-on alangan naman imo ko daygon lagmit tanang kadaut imo ilabay sa akoa as what you've slowly doing.

So dili diay ka mutuo nga ang gibuhat sa Ginoo kay perfect?

    Peace!"

ergo...kay binuhat man ka sa Ginoo...so of course justified imong claim nga perfect ka ...diba?

No sir, you got it all wrong. The birth of Jesus Christ meant the ultimate sacrifice, the lamb of GOD that taketh away the sins of the world. It is not Christ that is to be reborn but we the sinners embracing our SAVIOR (Jesus Christ), which means we will be reborn in the spirit, and therefore is justified before GOD. we are made perfect in HIS site despite our short comings. It is the innocent shedding of Blood of the LORD Jesus Christ that washes us white and pure.
