That is Good news...probably this wont be as insanely expensive due to the fact - it wont carry the badge of Infiniti. (crossing fingers). Now how about bringing those Next Generation Silvia's in this part of the Globe.

i heard that the new gtr will be powered by a 3.4 or 3.6 twin turbo(not decided yet).. having a base of 450 hp at the crank.. and the initial price would be 18million Yen(thats about 9m pesos excluding tax and shipmenmt) for the base model and 36million Yen for the Nismo tuned ones..

^ so they wont be using the Legendary RB30DeTT motor. So it'll be a the infamous VQ series Motor that they'll be using, thats the same Classification of Motor that I have in my 06 Xterra 4X4 which is a VQ40DE - a 4.0 variant of the VQ35DE (longer stroke). If its a twin turbo, then that would be VQ35DeTT...sweet.

@ handy : the rumor has it that its gonna be a 3.8L V6 (and of course Twin Turbo) with 7 speed (datz alot of gears)
i already had a hard time goin' on 6 gear on the MR

yea but 7 speed is over kill. even the pro corcuit cars converts from 6 speed to 5 speed tranny.. (more efficient)

but i do know that da Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 has only 6 speed with a 6.5L V12 engine (640hp)

and lets say the 08' Skyline is gonna have a 3.5L V6 twin turbo with 7 speed (450hp <--- datz the rumor)
(im just guessin' on the engine size,.... coz i dont think none of us know the exact engine there gonna use)

but lets see wat there gonna do with the gear ratio to that car,...
