but remember haitiensis are hard water cichlids....
basin naay bad effects pud if u put hard water cichlids sa softwater? hmm....
sa dagat ba gikan ato tap water? ngano hard man? diba naa man pud tay dam?
Cebu is a limestone island. The well water we have here passes through layers of lime making our water here hard and alkaline. Well water here in banilad area, ph is around 8-8.5, kH is around 16-20 and i dont know the gH kay expired na akong test kit . Kung mcwd water ka, its fairly softer and has a more or less neutral pH naa lang chlorine or chloramine.
If you happen to live near the areas where saltwater has already invaded our water table(the water deposit below ground) water there is already slightly salty. (lad-ang)
Manila on the other hand, especially the northern parts have very soft water. Makasuya lagi.
I dont know unsay effects if you put hard water cichlids into soft water or vice versa. Pero im guessing mo shorten ra ang lifespan. hehe
amo kay tapwater sa mcwd, mugawas straight from tap ph 7, then after a while mahimu 8.
