    bisan unsa lang oi basta DSLR!!! Ayaw sa palit anang mga hi-tech kaayo. Parehas ra gud na kon magpractice ka drive, kanang dili man mahalon imong practisan.

    nindot nang digital kay wala kay gasto kanang matagbaw jud ta og picture-picture! Nya wa pay gasto para processing kay ipansak ra nimo computer diretso! ayaw anang film unless kon daghan ka kwarta.

    if u got 30k buget,u can alrdy get a good dslr cam na slightly used... if makaya 45k, naay second hand na 40d... pero if beginner,i would sugest either 350d/400d or s5is... i am no professional but this is jst my opinion... i started wd my s5is and i stil use that cam... hehehe!

    go for nikon d40 kung low budget, d60 kung mid-budget, pero kung dili issue and money go for d80, d ka magmahay! hehehe

    I agree with angler, ok jud and d300 pero mahal lang gyud sya.Ok na kung dako imong budget pero kung tight imong budget entry levels like d40 or 400d will do. invest lang dayun sa lense

    yup, ang lens ang makapatay gyud.

    the body can be a d60 or a d80, but if you have a crappy lens, you will find it hard to get a shot that awes...(I'm not saying you cant...but this is a limitation especially for a beginner.)

    make sure you get VR lenses...makes all the difference in the world.

    remember this (i picked it up from a site somewhere) the only difference between a cheap camera and an expensive one, is not their ability to take good pictures, but the more expensive cameras make it EASIER to take good pictures.

    good luck with your search. whatever you get, im sure it would be awesome.

    for a starter and if you plan for nikon body use these lens as your starting lens, nikkor 18-55mm VR and Nikkor 55-200mm 4-5.6F VR which is reasonable ila price or you can get the 18-200mm 2.8F VR w/c is expensive.

    im planning to buy this lens also, nikkor 50mm 1.8f very reasonable iya price and very sharp lens.
