ngek, HP is very impractical... mahal kaayo...
bay, asa man ta kapalit ug YAMAHA 2100 cd-rw(or any yamaha would do)... this is scsi version and i nid one to replace my 3 year old trusted old one....
SCSI CD-RW's are very hard to find here... If I can find one I'd replace my current drive right away... IDE simply sucks
mao gyud BeoR... this YAMAHA has been doin good things to me.. sayang lang kay ingon TTI na phase-out kuno ang SCSI... pataka man lang na sila....
I'm currently using a Sony 48x12x48.... everytime I burn a CD, CPU load is too high that I almost can't do anything else... while with my old Sony 10x4x32 SCSI, I can even play games and run programs like I just booted up... darn, I miss my SCSI CD-RW....
phase out nila diri ang SCSI kay gamay ra mu-palit... tihik man gud mga tao diri...
sometimes SCSI CDRW is impractical for some people man gud... unless you have bucks for it, then ok ra... i think naa paman SCSI nga CDRW.
I think naa ang Plextor. ill check.
plextor is available....... but im looking for YAMAHA specifically model 2100 if naa... tested na man gun ni sya... and its able to copy anything, audio, data and even protected cds (i think not all with the newest copy protections)
hmmm... mura pariha raman tingali na bai... sige lang, ill give you feedback unya...
strange, wla lagi effect if mag burn ko ug CD sa proc utilization.. sometimes mo saka ra by 6-10% ang usageOriginally Posted by BeoR
yeah but your IDE bus is choked... hmmm, I should have said IDE Bus utilization...
Running / Opening progs takes very long to load... and sometimes, the buffers run out that even with Buffer Underrun Protection I still get coasters...
