Need Help to have the best set-up sa Asus P8z77-V BIOS...or any set up sa PC to run better lang...

Mga Master.... I would like to request for your help and expertise sa Asus P8z77-V nga mobo....

Im new to setting up a computer mga master but i was able to purchase and build a pc... but mejo libug kaayu ko about BIOS ani nga Mobo... murag daghan kaau i-adjust.... mejo hinayan d.i pud ko sa performance ani niya...like transferring files to an ext.HDD and loading sa mga files niya nga naa ra sa Internal HDD.... motuyok2x pa ang lingin sa cursor indicating nag.process pa xa....


Mao d.i ni akong Build:

i5 3570k @3.40GHz (brand new 12days old)
Asus P8z77-V
8Gb RAM (Corsair Vengeance)
1TB WD green (brand new 12days old)
GT430 video card
500w coolermaster PSU
ODD: Asus 24x
OS: Windows 7 x64bits Ultimate Pack1 (Cracked)

Situation 1:
Gi-partition naku ang 1 TB into drives C ug D.
-Kung mo-open ko ug file folder gkan sa drive D,usahay motuyok2x pa ang lingin nga cursor kay ga.load or ga.process pa xa.... will take around 2seconds... di jud as in " klick ! open dayun.." = madugay pa gamay...

is this a SATAIII | 64MB Cache WD Green?

or SATAII 32MB WD Green?

bottom line. this HDD is not for OS if u want fast response,

i have one, a 2TB version, i just use it as FILE HDD

Situation 2:
Utilizing USB 3.0 ports. Im using USB 3.0 external HDD - 1tb WD elements.
-if mag transfer ko ug files nga 50GB from ext.HDD to my pc, how many minutes should it take man unta?

it should be fast actually, but because of ur WD green, it's slowing it

Situation 3:
Copying files from a dvd to my drive D.
-ang 3.7 gb file nga naa sa DVD (like movie/game discs) will take around 20minutes to copy it to the drive D.

Wala ko nag.over clock ky dipa ko kamao....unya nah if nakoy cpu cooler na bugnaw jud....
Updated na naku ang BIOS...ver. 1805....latest sa asus website for win7 x64 OS....
12 days old pani xa nga Build... murag feel naku paspas pa to mo.open ug file akong athlon x2 2.7 ghz saona...


Is there any set up that i should change? any driver/software to install,bios settings to change?
Mo-pas2x pani gmay or mao na jud ni?

Your advice might save my build...

seriously, i have built rig with procie same as yours

it's blazing fast actually.

and you should change that PSU too, i believe that's just not enough.

the VC is fine as long as you will not play uber games.


and do not partition, non partitioned HDD runs faster, cooler and safer.


add another 64MB Cache WD black 320GB SATAIII for OS or SSD SATAIII

then plug it on the SATAIII port on your mobo.



reformat, ilisi na ur flavored SP1 Win7 64.

by experience, mas nindot ang OEM version then update it.

tuo lang, i'm using 48 n1 OEM suite

I think sa OS pud ni bro as stated sa previous comments... dili man guro need ang ssd para mu pas2 maau... my dual core laptop with mobile hard disk, copied a 1.5g video in less than 3 minutes using usb 2.0... reinstall lang os bro katong "clean"

Maski unsa ka nindot sa product like mobo naay gihapon nay bug from drivers to hardware issues. I think the problem is either your software na Pirata or the HDD itself ang issue even its bnew naa gihapon chances ma failed. If I were you have your HDD replace since it has 30 days store automatic replacement. Then buy a genuine Windows 8 PRO X64bit murag 3.8k rana and you're good to go. I swear ok na imong problema. I hope it helps.

nahan ko mo.try balik sir... then aku I take note jud ang time consumed to copy files...
usb 3.0 nga port aku gamit... mag.expect ko nga pas2x jud ni...
