My little boy will be entering this schoolyear ( June 2012 ) as a playgroup ( 3 - 6 years old ) in USC MA .

Indeed a nice institution for their formative years .

By the way , hantod senior high ( K11 - K12 ) na ni sila mo practice ug MONTESSORI STYLE instead of the traditional style .

If you can afford it , this is the best Montessori education you can find here in Cebu .

i recommend this school, five stars!.

My only son has been attending this school for 2 yrs now, he will be turning 5 ths oct. Things i like: 1. no books for the kids to bring along (they dont have books as lessons are per module basis), they bring light bags only 2. no assignments or bring home work that in reality it is the mom or the tutors who would answer 3. positive reinforcement 4. practical method or approach in teaching- student centered (they dont have blackboard and stuffs of a typical classroom, they have what they call prepared room) 5. teachers are child friendly

my boy now knows how to read and write numbers and letters, he asks questions and probe on answers, he is confident and socialize well.. And more importantly, i have observed that he has developed to become a street smart!

I agree. It's very competitive now. 2-3 years old is all focused on reading so 4 years old now knows how to read. My cousin son took an entrance exam in st Ben and failed despite undergoing K1 because they really start them early now. As early as 2 na my nephew and nieces. You can tell the inferiority of those who start early as compared to those who start late. That kind f thinking will work in the 90s. Unfortunately, this entails more cost.
