How to become a moderator?

So, to become a moderator - you have to have patience and responsibilities correct? I guess most members here are responsible for the posts they made. It's up to these MODz to get rid of those irresponsible one...

What other qualifications that a member become a moderator because not all members with enough required posts can be one and there are members that are sensible and responsible. I've seen members and read their posts that are very inappropriate for the forum (not to name names). Being vigilant is I think one of those qualifications.

I've been doing that for over 14 years now - where I work (www.bocaresort.com) and being a Network Admin doesn't give you enough pat on the back to be responsible - been there, done that kind of things... I’ve been dealing with workers that are members of “WHAT Ifs” and these can’t be pleased or satisfied with your responsibility and doesn't qualify me to be on the highest level of anything.

Forgive my angst but some moderators are unpredictable behavior too. If the “main man” is not vigilant to his members, there is no point of accepting or taking members to be one. Just a thought.

I think what Sugbuanon said, in summary, was that he knows what it is to moderate, having been a Network Administrator himself. He said it takes responsibility and vigilance to be a good moderator, and he hopes that you guys are.

Vigilance is variable. It depends on how a member posts.

I, for one, am a vigilant moderator. My fellow mods, people who I trust in their duties, are as vigilant as well.

As what i've heard,Dali ra daw ma moderator,kay ang uban ma moderators lang kay naka UYAB man ug moderator,or igsoon ba ,ig agaw,mao na ma promote pud.(ataya ani noh?).heheh..its a shame.but of course,I know & I respect those mods who is really capable for the term "moderators",who can preside or manage a debate..But there are some.Uga gyud na mod.as in murag walay idea..Anyway,makita man na ninyo..hehe..no heart feelings..
