Going back to the topic: Yes Marilyn Manson's music is considered industrial rock.

I listen to both genres Metal and Gangsta Rap, along with classical, jazz, opera and RNB.

however, recent evolution of music seems to mend rock and rap. This is evidenced by song from the collaboration of Aerosmith and Run DMC ("Walk This Way"), Beastie Boys, Ice-T's Bodycount and a lot more.

and thank to the fight of this two genres (metal and hiphop,rap) because they lead others to make a new style which is a collaboration of the two genres..
