for the sake of discussion, Australia has this so-called superannuation fund deducted from your weekly/fortnightly/monthly salary that will serve as your savings for retirement so you'll be able to use them once you stop working. that and a lot other benefits you'll enjoy as a resident/citizen. good luck!

exactly.. but the difference between CPF and Superannuation fund is CPF is applicable to Singapore PR only while a super fund is for anyone who's working in Australia and paying their taxes. so everytime someone decides to get out of OZ, they still have that amount of money to take with them.

There's a lot of SG working people in the forums, might as well give them an example they can relate to.

    And Kiwi-Saver for NZ.

    Is super fund optional?
I'm not sure if CPF is optional.

as far as i know it's optional for self-employed but is still encouraged by the government as a retirement savings. But when hired by a company, the company is always required to pay the superfund for their employee.

not sure about CPF as well and the kiwi's

I would suggest you talk to an agency.
If they can give you a free assessment, that would be nice.

Check with them what are your visa options and after that, you can research on how hard/easy it is to get that visa online.

You can save money by doing it yourself and asking questions around the forums but immigration rules change a lot and agencies "most of the time" are up to date.

This is good, IF you're only thinking of what's "here and now".

People who look beyond would probably choose wisely.

Nag order na ko ug pizza with popcorn + 1 large soda.

Sige lang boss @jackdi mas dako man mo ug pay rate compared sa NZ and this is a FACT.

So is it worth going there? Not for me if they're talking about NZ alone but a different story regarding AUS tho.
