Default Mambucal or Mambukal in Murcia, Negros Occidental

ive been to mambukal before and it was nice back then and basing on hondavero's post...i believe it will be worth going back !

esp the 7 falls...went up as far as the 6th falls only! i just hope its safer now because during the time when we went there, there were a lot of armed people. imagine seeing "tanke de guerra" in a mountainous barrio.

bahala nang mga snatcher, pede pa gukdon (besides, kinsa man sad ang mang snatch naa kas bungtod noh?!) basta safe ka from the NPA's noh?!

Its safe now.... probably those tanks that you saw there was during the anti-terrorism campaign of the province coz you know naman na most of the rebels are staying at the mountainous part of the country. Just for the info of everyone, Mambukal is considered to be the foot of Mt. Kanlaon and there is actually a way going to Mt. Kanlaon passing Mambukal... Mao na daghang geyser na makita mo didto. Nice na kau karon ang mambukal kay fully renovated na and feel mo dyud ang nature na gitawag.... Its a very nice place to relax dyud!
Btw, this April 9~17 will be the Panaad sa Negros Festival sa Bacolod and its a good side-trip sa mga bakasyonista didto.... Its considered as the festival of all festivals sa Negros Occidental. Mag kontra tanan na champions sa street dances sa kada town and cities sa Negros and its a very good showcase of arts, culture and products of each town and city sa ila na themed booth. I will be having a tour schedule to Bacolod on April 15~21. Kinsay ganahan na mo kuyog just PM me.

@LANFear: that's one good site! thanks!

@hondarevo: btw, i almost forgot to ask you about this. do you have some schedules on the buses, ships and everything in between? just an idea... cuz for my case, i dont really have that long summer vacation.so, i wish to leave for bacolod on friday afternoon, here, in cebu. problem is, i dont know what to expect when i get to toledo. i may or may not hit the last trip going to san carlos and, then, going to bacolod. so, that i will arrive there in bacolod on the same day. and i assume, it would be very difficult for me to go directly to Mambukal at night...

    cheers!
