    all I can say....

    1. its impossible to abolish fraternity in our country
    2. its impossible to change the image of our fraternity
    3. its impossible to regulate fraternity

    reasons..

    1. it takes an army of willing people to change, abolish, regulate the fraternity...
    2. Filipino people can only criticize but no action is given (including me)
    3. we don't have an army of willing people.. we only have an army of critics...
    4. poverty, corruption and mentality restricts these movements

    only solution for me

    1. educate my son and daughter not to be involve of what you think is bad for our society for our family and for our selves...
    2. live life with good friends, minimal enemies and be civil. (minimal kay naa man gyud ta kontra)

Maybe and Maybe these solutions can help regulate or to the extent abolish fraternity for the next next generation... just educate our children...

im not really against fraternities, sometimes its annoying to hear the news and the papers about their little conflicts it has turned the real purpose of brotherhood into a nuissance which interferes with the common right of the general public, with the health, safety, peace, and comfort of the community unreasonably.

@ EZRA ... Actually bro there are thousands of us that acts like FRATMEN and GENTLEMEN the way it should be bounded by the codes , motto , guidelines , bylaws etc . Its just that being a HOUSEHOLD name , its a tool for them to sensationalized us because it involves business . Mao lang naka pait , they never reported any incidents between SRB , ANO , KNS , LAMBDA and so on and so forth because people will say ... KINSA NA SILA ? Except maybe for the APO and SRB incident in USC-TC when in fact walay labot ang mga grupo gyud ato but just mere personal reasons and a teacher got involved pero aron mahalin , butangan dayon nila ug word na FRAT . I agree also that some members act like GANGSTERS instead of being FRATMEN , these are the very people who are also key players in having probable cause why media exaggerates . Though things have been made , amended and planned on these idiots , I just hope there will be consistent actions executed to discipline and straighten them out .

Lastly ... that is very true . Some people say that nagbuhat mi ug mga HUMANITARIAN SERVICES to redeem ourselves . Actually weve been doing SERVICES ( AKRHO ) since it was founded because that is the core of our existence .

    @P-CHAN ....

I am sorry to say that your mother is IGNORANT of such notion and justification . Pwede ka malabaw sa pagka BUGOY kung gustohon nimo and guess what , you dont have to be a FRATMAN either accomplish that .

SPRING: I just hope that they start revamping their practices bai ... it just can't go on forever. Sa kadaghang problema sa nasod nga atemanon, pun-an pa gyud aning gubot gubot between fraternities and gangs (I hear nga naa say Bloods ug Crips sa Pinas - na unsa gud tawn ug abot sa Bloods ug Crips diha).

It's good that the Fraternities itself are straightening these members out... pero it would also be nice to see a more tightened recruit-screening process. Dili na unta magpataka ug pasulod ug mga bag-ong membro kay useless lang gihapon ang ilang hago sa pag tarong sa uban members when more headaches are coming in. Disciplinary actions should be imposed on those members/chapters nga nagpalusot aning mga way klarong recruits.

Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?

From what I understand, some frat leaders & alumni are using the fraternity to advance their hidden agendas. They run it like it's a Mafia family - complete w/ a capo, some Lt's, & of course, the foot soldiers. It has become like a criminal syndicate -engaging in various nefarious activities. That is the rationale behind their decision to accept OSY's into their fold. They need foot soldiers that don't think, thus, the OSY's. It is quite evident that those frat leaders & alumni that engaged in such activities are using the fraternity as their cover -to shield them from being perceived as hoodlums. A convenient way to deodorize for what they really are - self serving two bit mobsters. Their violent track record speaks for itself. The call for the abolition of fraternities stemmed from the actions of these scalawags masquerading as fratmen. They brought it upon themselves.

I challenge you to prove your claims by providing CONCRETE VALID EVIDENCES to back up your CLAIMS otherwise , your UNDERSTANDING is good for nothing and belongs to the area for ENTERTAINMENT rather than being for GENERAL KNOWLEDGE .

I guess you are a big fan of the MOBS like John Gotti , Sammy the Bull etc . ARe you also talking about the PNP , CIDG , CIIB , NBI , PSG , PDEA and so on and so forth ? Hehehe .... for the moment , I will consider your UNDERSTANDING as worthwhile the read but for ENTERTAINMENT purposes lang una untill you can prove me wrong .
