mo risgo man ko bai basta lang angay e risgo, mu atras pud ko ig tan aw nako na kuyaw kuyaw. wa may gamhanan sa stocks gud. dili ko mo patoo sa mga agente na wala gani ka suway or naka suway pero ginagmay lang or less than 10years sa industry..pataka lang nag yamayama ang uban.

12% per year na bai?

unfortunately, for the whole of it, not per year, some of my MF were invested before the 2008 market crash and I never had the opportunity to top up while the market was very down, so, it's sort of, invested today then went down as -15% at some point then saka balik to what it is as 12% as a whole. Looking at the ICAP website for 3 yr historical figures, 12% is not that bad, some may have earned more especially when they invested when the market was really down. Mao pod tu nga time nga, pag down sa market, and having seen your portfolio went down as -15%, the newbie in me said to myself, "ah, spare funds ra bitaw to, ok lang" but lessons learned, I should have invested more . . . well, part of the learning curve . . .

same ta ug experience boss.... around 2007 pud ko din i earned around 17% for the last 3 years. i was also hesitant during the time nga ubos kau ang price.... now lesson learned and waiting for another down opportunity.

ah ok.
karon we are in a small low, so it's also a good time to invest. may it be mutual funds or stocks.

in my opinion, if ganahan mo get in when low and pull out when high strategy mas maayo mag stocks kay dako kaayo ang returns.

btw, mutual funds are long term investment vehicles. It's highly recommended to protect your short term concerns before investing in mutual funds. Most of the time moderetso ug invest sa MF, nya wa jud protection/investment for short term needs.
