the pulpit is every worth our respect.. even the priest w/c is a clear representation of the pope and the church itself.. deserves to be respected..

Holy is a sacred term.. akin to righteous and sanctified. The Pope and the Vatican has withstand waves of sacrileges, even dated to the last Schisms.. where it divided the greek orthodox and the roman catholics...

the POPE is worthy to be Holy.. it is NOT the man behind the cloak your giving your respects with..., but it is the POSITION and the NAME his holding in the Vatican.

After all, Jesus before he climbed to heaven had given Peter (the FIRST POPE) the authority to build the first ROCK (Church), so that man might remember Him by...

but, what i see in television... most catholics look at popes as their gods... they cry on them... touch them then manguros... etc... misleading kaau...

thats what we call faith bro. to each his own ta. any topic gani nga about religion bro wla jud ni katapusan. WE Catholics will always defend our faith and vice versa. Why not respect each others religiion or each others faith? I have a very close friend way back in HS, dili jud mi mag lalis or mag-away parte sa religion bec we knw it will break us. its just a matter of respect.

sakto ka bro! the word "Father" should never be applied to preachers. Yung Dios na nasa langit, NEVER inaddress ni Jesus and Apostles as "Holy Father" or "The Most Holy Father".

"Father" lang po ang tawag sa Dios Ama. Pero ang mga nag-ba-banal-banalan sa Roma gustong lagpasan ang title ng tunay na Dios.

PS: Ang salitang "REVEREND" ay ISANG BESES lang binanggit sa bible at hindi ito kailanman ginamit para sa isang tao. Pero yung mga pari "REVEREND FATHER" ang tawag. Hindi din nagpapatalo.

Teka? Ano ba dapat itawag natin sa mga preachers? Simple lang "BROTHER" , "SISTER", dahil isa lang po ang Ama pagdating sa religion. At nasa Langit po iyon, wala po sa ROMA.
