Petron Corp. on Wednesday announced that beginning 12:01 a.m. Thursday, it will offer a P2 per liter discount for its gasoline and diesel products as part of the company's Chrtismas offering.

In a text message to abs-cbnNEWS.com, Petron's Raffy Ledesma said gasoline and diesel will cost P2 less per liter in service stations in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu. The discount will last until midnight of January 1.

I think other oil companies will have their own rollbacks. Otherwise, they will have fewer customers. A discount of P2.00 per liter is a big amount for our motorists.

This just shows that the public is indeed benefiting from the works of economic progress. Fare rollbacks, discount on oil prices, stable prices of basic commodities and better economic outlook in general. Now, we're seeing a better year ahead of us.
