    lately, a thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini... it's hard to name a favorite book..the alchemist (life-changing, hehe), catcher in the rye, da vinci code, bag of bones by stephen king, books by nick hornby, lord of the rings, ayn rand's the fountainhead.... kadaghan gyud uy

    Mario Puzo's The Godfather.

    one big battering ram of a book. heavy and blunt, and the words flow so naturally that even a non reader of novels will be hooked.

    definitely worth a try. makes you think about WHO really holds the strings in society.

    i still have the 1969 edition. lol.
