a properly fed and well nourished LG will always result in its tail getting round and fat....as the tail contains their fat reserves.
as per advise ni pareng reydawnne...importante ang calcium as part of the LGs diet...as well as multivitamins.
these supplements should be given to balance the nutrition contained by the insect feeder you give your LG.
in the wild, they get calcium and vit/minerals they need by licking them off from the ground, rocks, etc...as well as from the occassional small animals that they can get (e.g. pinkie mouse, small lizards, etc.). hence, in captivity, you then have to provide these supplements with their insect diet by dusting the powedered supplement on the feeder insects before serving them (bon appetit!).![]()
