Kebz, You are resisting progress and that is not healthy. You cannot stop science from discovering life either, di ba? Let's say that scientist cannot promise... what exactly they said that they promised something? I can tell you though, scientists didn't promise anything but progress... you have cars, internet, electricity, airplanes, boats... that is science at work... they didn't promise that but they improved your life. What they discovered in Mars is not a hoax but possibility of a livable planet. If earth gets crowded, that's one possible place to relocate some of the people because they discovered "water". Science didn't ask you to be a believer too... science gives you a chance to make your life better. If there isn't science, what then?

Trip that is why Christianity looks bad on Science because people think Bible is against science... Well I admit there is a fine line running Science and Bible but Bible is a book of Faith...
