    Pre,

Boss nimo si Mimo? The Berkut is still in the hangar gathering dust. I have never seen it fly. It's a nice plane, but there are better ones out there.

As far as maneuverability is concerned, the Berkut, and a lot of other planes can outmaneuver an F-16 low and slow. Even a typical Cessna. The F-16 is built to fight at a much higher speed. At 180 kts or so that a light aircraft flies, the F-16 is barely staying in the air.

yup. I was with him back in the apw days.
    haven't been in touch since.

it is a fine aircraft. sad to hear it's just sitting there.
maybe someday I could have something like that.

though the thought of having it for military use is a nice idea...

...but the design is probably a decade old or so already.

    any suggestions on something better?

It sure LOOKS a heck of a lot nicer than a Bronco.

Which is the reason why I bought X-Plane 9.

    (yep, installer comes in 6 DVD's )

My joystick's been gathering dust lately (I don't usually use it when flying rockets hehehe). Been very rusty, and since FSX is merely FS2004 in "nicer" packaging, I wanted to try out something different. I still need to clean out my hard disk--it needs no less than 60 GIGABYTES of disk space to install terrain for the entire world.
