OnT: FICCO offers motorcycle and motor vehicle loans as well(Brand New or Surplus). Lower interest rates than banks or in house financing.

one thing dapat i.consider why moapil kag coop ky imu reasons why niapil ka. if only for savings, dako2x siyag rate compared to banks ky wa mn siguro sila'y withholding tax unlike sa banks naa which is 20% for php currency.
okay rmn ang coop pero minaw sa jud ka sa seminar, ayaw ditso2x pa member. dali rna i.sud ang coop (open or close group) pero kuti sab if i-terminate na.

daghan pmn lain ways wherein you'll get higher savings, pwede gani ko mo offer, awhahah. if savings lang inyo purpose hap, di insurance, etc...

Note: per annum na ang interest sa coop nga imu ma gain pero per month na ang interest i-charge nimo for loan. i-multiply lang na ug 12 pra makuha nimo ang rate per annum sa interest sa loan. That's why you should think and decide wisely.

nkaapil nkog coop when I'm still in high school and lain npud nga coop pag.college pero after college, na realize nko I can earn more when I'm the one who'll use my savings. naminaw nlng ko sa seminar pero di mn worth it at this time where I can invest it on other things which could garner higher returns. pero helpful mn siya kato pag.student pa nko, dako2x pud siya'g interest ui dayon wa rako'y gibuhat. pero if you know how to make your money grow, kaw nlng gamit sa imo money.

I would agree with you @cebu opportunities. Naa pa dyud mas dako ug interest compared to cooperatives. Ang mo-matter man gud sa majority is how. They (I admit apil ko ana) may have a little to no knowledge at all on how to invest on stocks, mutual funds and the likes. Plus the risk factor pa and large investments needed to start with. That I think is the breaking point of why people limit their investments to avenues that are readily available. Like banking and cooperatives that is.
