Mga bossing, my Black Innova 2008 model has several swirls and scratches, here and there, and I know, with the lapse of more than 7 years, a washover is the best option....but since I do not have the budget yet (somebody offered to do it for 40,000.00 using 2k paint), I am planning to have it polished by a Carwash Shop using Turtle Wax Color Magic (the one with something like lipstick), or any polishing/waxing product specifically for black vehicles....would it be a good idea?

ayaw lang siguro nang turtle wax ang gigamit boss. daghan man turtle wax scare sa internet. hehehe. kung sa carwash pod ka, tendency ana dali-on ra na nila. i doubt if they'll spend a whole day for it. it might turn out that they will just apply the polish, then wax. tadahhh! mailad ra ka sa sinaw but wala diay to na-correct imong paint. Much better kung imo ipa-trabaho ug shops with detailing expertise. @RACER X, basin ganahan na ka mag sugod sa imong detailing business. you can help our friend here. hehehe

I think I just committed a blunder, boss. Naay part near the spoiler with some black spots, I think paint overspray siguro to. Ni-concentrate ko pag maayo ug scrub didto with Megs UC. Arang2x na ky dli na kaayo klaro but after waxing, I noticed wala man diay to nisinaw nga portion. It's dull and no longer have a glossy look.

Wala ba kaha naapil nako ug kitkit ang clearcoat ato boss? watda! hehehe Ang gi-correct nisamot ug ka incorrect. lol.

boss, depending on the condition of the paint, you might save some money if you have it machine polished and detailed. I wouldn't suggest using TW Color Magic as it's really just a wax and does not have any polishing agent.

no need to worry about that boss, micromarring and hazing usually happens if you apply a compound hard enough. The shine can be restored with a polish and a less aggressive pad.

since naka apply na man ko ug wax, later nalang siguro to nako hilabtan ug balik. wala pa pod ko kapalit ug polish. half pa pod sa van akong nahuman ug clay>compound>wax.

unsa man maayo pangpasinaw sa chrome emblems, boss? ang emblems sa likod ky naa man mga chemical drip nga lama. maka daot ba ang rubbing compound kung accidentally ma-igo? it looks like naapil gyud ni pagpa detail nako few months ago.

grabeha na ani oh. bantayi gyud na boss nga walay maka hikap ky basa pa ang pintal. hahaha

even a fresh and newly purchased car from the showroom doesn't have that kind of shine.

kung maka-afford ka sa Meg's Ultimate Polish boss, naa ra pud na sa Blade I think. otherwise, for the budget-conscious try lang the Turtle Wax Polish nga naa sa Ace. You can use a foam applicator this time to polish the haze.
