The usual drum-beating threats every Sinulog to speed up registration sales and accumulate wealth at earlier time. It's a common knowledge for Sinulog veterans fotogs that as long as there are registrants willing to pay the exorbitant fees there's no limit to the number of registrants.

Yeah I've also heard this before limited daw ang registration for the contestants, yet if you look and observe at their registration forms daghan kaayo I think 3 to 4 rims gyud to hehehe.... how many papers are there in a rim anyway hehehe...

oi ayaw ana. kitlens akong gamit sa nikon d60 pag 2008 then nakaplace ko. ni.nindot akong lens pag 2009, wa na nuon ko ka place. hehe

Before it was relevant since we dont know gi unsa nila pag compute and asa mu adto ang money sa photog contest... and now...

irrevelevant na because we already know nga nag subsidize ta sa mga contigents w/c should NOT be the case... because thats not how it should be computed... coz dili cya FAIR... wla nata tay labot sa mga contigents... they should get their funding for that sa city/prov govt., companies nga mu sponsor, stall renters... ADs sa mga dalan... and other forms of donations from EARNING entities... they should exclude the photocontest from all those other things/expenses that doesn't relate to the photocontest.

if mangayo tag break down, and basing on your computation.. they can just easily put your excess nga 200k under miscellaneous.. hahahah paetz...

I also commend the suggestion nga naay category nga for participants and non-participants sa contest... that is a very fair and acceptable option for all...

I hope SFI will listen coz wla pa jd tawn na cla na minaw sa mga reklamo sukad pa sauna... if ur read the threads last year and last last year about sinulog.. balik2 ra jd ang mga complains... wla juy improvements...


guys kani akong reklamo, di raman ni para nako.. para mani tanan nga into photography and also for the sinulog festival in general...

at least 1 of my goals was answered... that is to know y every year nag increase ang reg fee... at least everybody knows na... at least we know the truth but sad to say unfair cya for us participants...

and its up to you to figure things out... coz again kung ok rani nato.. kataw-an lang ghapon ta ani next year sa atong mga reklamo... wlay kausaban and wlay kalambu-an...

I agree with this. Dli justifiable ang pagincrease. This has become a business. The cost sa contingents and all ky shouldered na na sa government and sponsors. The fee sa photocontest will only go to the photocontest prizes and shirts. But if naa na mu.sponsor like say Canon, then dapat Canon pays part of the prizes and of the shirts (we dont need vests). There should be proper auditing ani.

Ako suggestion is balik nalng sa old-school oi. nga wala ny special privileges ang fotogs and they shoot from the side or however and anyone can submit photos but with a limit lng tingai. no registration na. challenge na na sa fotogs how to get good shots even when naa sa side. I know dli mu.musogot ani, and i myself have been enjoying the shoot ky mas ayahay if naa ka sa tunga but looking from the perspective of everyone including non-fotogs, mas maayo if fair for everyone to be on the sides.

sugod na ang kalbaryo? a simple tshirt lang di pa ma provide b4 hand sa registration... di baya lalim mag balik2 considering the amount that u pay... anyways ayaw mo kabalaka... daghan panang kalbaryo...

mag balik2 napud mo ana kay:
1. kuwang ang tshirt supply
2. wlay small size or xxl size
3. nahutdan sila ug tshirt

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA... nya i minus lang daw sa imong reg fee ang wla na issuehan ug tshirt... and ur paying 1k for that...

mas maayo pa mu kaon nalang mu sa Jollibee ul get better service + a smile for just 50 pesos meal.

This is understadable bro kay if magpa print ka ug 2k na tshirt and ang mo join/register is only 1k so unsaon man ang 1k nga sobra? Patience lang bro.... Mao na ang Sinulog... Mao na ang Senyor Santo Ninyo....
