im so close with my guy friend....we r so close that we eat lunch, dinner and snacks, share secrets, and "call it a day" together every day..and night....in short, we spend most of the time together than i do with my family...i luv him...like him...but its in a friendly manner,...he even asked me who id choose, him or my current crush...(surprise! i said id choose him)...but he really is juz my friend...

my concern is that im afraid i might be so much involved with him...because we are gud friends, and gudfrens we shall be. he is the kindest person out there...i can even cry on his shoulders without feeling ashamed...also, he is about to transfer to somewhere else and im totally gonna miss him...hes the only person who helped me go thru my previous problems....im afraid that i might not be able to make it wen hell be gone...(im getting dependent on him na man)...wat shud i do to feel less damage wen ill lose him.... T_T

... getting in touch is not a problem nowadays. Thanks to technology. Utilize your cellphone and the internet. And it's bad if you're getting too dependent on a person, slowly try to stand up on your own.

i guess there are 2 things u can do now... (a) you let go or (b) you hold on

there are ways to let go: find yourself someone or at least divert your attention to something ELSE ur heart desires... or you can just face the fact that nothing WILL or CAN ever happen to the two of you (as u have implied) and also you can hold on to the friendship (or mutual understanding?) by just suppressing things inside (i don't really recommend it though) but you CAN keep the friendship by accepting the fact that friends is all you can ever be and keep your communication alive.. i mean, it's not hard, he should be going to a place where there is a cellular network or an internet connection.. unless he dies *God forbid* then you can't reach him.. anyways, you should be ok.. your dependence on him is just a temporary state, when he leaves, you are bound to live through it... it is our nature to survive, unless you don't have the will.
