As I said her advisors are incompetent.
They interpreted section 8 as a prohibition that's why CV-63 was the only carrier allowed.
But can anyone tell me what section 8 means.

Section 8. The Philippines, consistent with the national interest, adopts and pursues a policy of freedom from nuclear weapons in its territory.

Section 7 speaks of a generalized statement while section 8 points to a specific and detailed reason on NUCLEAR matters that will jeopardize the integrity , sovereignty and interest of the nation. Now tell me how you interpret SECTION 8 .

(that's why the US places its boomers in the pacific & atlantic so that there's always an effective counter attack, but maybe you still have to use google to find out what a first strike scenario is??)

the point of my posts was to give understanding of US' nuclear submarine force & how the US uses it as a deterrent. if you're one of the guys who'd be gullible enough to believe that it doesnt carry nukes, then that's your stand.. but i have a funny feeling you dont know jack about submarine warfare. if i throw you the terms TLAM, MIRV's ,thermocline.. you'd probably have to use the internet to find out its meaning.. you're just somebody who's trying to be a smart aleck here by flaming other people's post.. when you get to learn a good deal about submarine warfare, maybe you can post something more sensible here..
