2.) The mentality is so "for compliance only". Is it only the law that kept you from doing these things? I mean, if dili dakpon ok ra? So things like safety and being sensitive to the public never occurred to you? Then you can't talk about the AO being right.

please read again my post, and the posts i made earlier. halata kaayo nga u haven't been reading comprehensively.

did u even read my post nga imong gi-quotan? take note sa "before and after" nako nga mga statements.

u didn't get my point. yes im pro AO, but what i earlier said is to enumerate unta letter d, what are the modification violations para ma klaro ky its just too vague to comprehend.

also, what im saying is ky kbaw na man ta unsay mga modifications nga POSIBLE ma dakpan ka, we should at least avoid them AS OF THE MEANTIME ky the letter d is still under debate, protest and complaints have been lodged w/c are all still in process.

that's how to be open-minded about it and using common sense coz there's nothing u can do about it AS OF NOW other than complain or make some protest. that's the reality we have to accept BUT act on it reasonably and w/ practicality.

and when i speak of "compliance" pre, it is compliance to the regulations and safety issues, and that already includes sensitivity to the public.

as of now, and im sure u already know about it, some changes are CLEARLY okay like:

- changing your side mirrors to smaller one but not to the extent it hampers ur vision rear-wise.
- lowered but not halata nga super-lowered.
- replacing OEM bulb w/ 30% or 50% Xenon.
- change color, change engine, change chassis, but has proper LTO/TMG docs.
- change tailpipe pero kanang compliant ug dili saba (not all aftermarket tailpipes are loud u know)
- change shock absorbers pero has to be compliant (this doesn't include changing from non-mono to mono)

AND PLS NOTE that im not only talking about modifications but the entire AO as a whole from a to e. asa naman toh ang nireklamo dre sa slippers? asa naman toh ang nireklamo sa helmet?

ug kinsa toy niingon nga connected ko sa LTO, well, i'm not. what i mean that i've been transacting sa LTO for a long time already is kana bang renewal nako sa rehistro ug licensya bah...every year na nko ginabuhat since i was 18 yrs old bah.

depende sa imong unit pre. kung imoha xrm, so rayos na ang stock. murag dili pa pwede ilisan ug aluminum wheels. ayaw lng sa ron panahona ky hot pa kau na sa dakop rn. kapoy lalis sa CITOM unya if ever. ma cite pka ug "insulting an enforcer" ana.

huwaton nlng nato unsa unya resulta sa complaints sa taga Manila. in the meantime, i andam lng nya imo wawarts if OK na. if im not mistaken, kng gusto gyud ka karon diha2x mismo, murag knanglan imo pa na ipa process sa LTO for the change. pangutana nlng gyud ug klaro nila...

btw, it is not LTO who has power over sellers of surplus or aftermarket parts. It is the DTI but of course w/ the coordination of LTO.

wa ka ka gets pre... im not undermining anyone here. ang pasabot nko nga "dili parehos ninyo ug utok ang tanang motorista" is that some riders don't even want to bother modifying their bike. some riders want to avoid conflict w/ authorities in any way bsan unsa pa na ka vague. some riders dili parehas ka isug ninyo. some riders don't actually own their bikes (basin sa kompaniya ra). some riders vehemently violate all the above regulations from a to e, without even violating letter d. some riders don't even know how to modify their motor, etc etc etc...

ug dili nlng ta mag pinilosopo, abi ky "any modifications" man ang nka butang, imo nlng pud sabton nga tanan gyud ug walay mga exemptions. any law has exemptions u know. but again, i know letter d is vague.

anyway, this is an AO, an administrative order from head LTO to their offices nationwide to enforce it. meaning, this is an internal order. we have to understand the nature of this document inorder for us to properly address our complaints to the proper authorities. ky basin ad2 nya reklamo ang uban sa barangay hall, worse, the Congress...who knows? hehe
