Naa meeting usually during Weekends... Nya is assign ka ug particular battalion which is under the Ready Reserves. Yep naay training ana.. pero dont expect much from the training... Most soldiers from regular army or standing army kay ill-trained how much more the Reserves??

Usa sa inyong "officers" ana kay si Major Dick Sison A.K.A. Major Humba as stated in my previous post....

Unsay advantages ani?? Well naa kay free or subsidized tuition if you decide to pursue graduate studies or other field.. Free Health Care.... Respect and gratitude from peers and countrymen.... Ay este nasayop ko... HEHE wrong country

Real Perks: Well you can play soldier-soldier, act like a BIG GUY(Hawd na kuno), wear a pathetic uniform, help guard events like Sinulog (naa kay free passes, USAHAY).... Nya naa kay discount when it comes to firearms licensing...

querry lang bai! reservist diay ka bai? maybe those are your experiences sa army reserve or maybe something that you've heard from other people if it is not a first hand account.

well, i can't say much about other units.anyway if you are under CAD(called to Active Duty) orders then you are not a civilian but a active military personnel it's not playing soldier-soldier because reservist are covered by the Articles of War thus can be court martialed.

i don't look like pathetic in my uniform (maybe you do look pathetic if you wear one because you think like one or maybe you don't really get to wear one unless you just play war games), reservist just don't serve during sinulog but anywhere ready reserve units are needed (several units and personnel have been decorated for their achievements) and these units (ready reserve units)are highly respected by their foreign counterpart during operation. i pity you for your ignorance.

@ godCode: you qualify to be a member of the ready reserve if you are a ROTC graduate.if not you can take the Basic Citizen's Military Training (an alternative and equivalent to ROTC for non -ROTC grads) just visit any ARESCOM, AFRESCOM, or NAVRESCOM units in your area

@7DMM First hand experience ni ako pre... Yep Rainbow Warriors....

Yeah not only Sinulog and I can cite on example... Mancao Building Collapse Tragedy.. Other than what unsa except anang mga events

I look pathetic in my uniform?? By the way, have you seen Maj. Richard Sison wear the uniform? Nuff said.

Highly respected by foreign counterparts?? harhar and I am ignorant?? Even our Regular Army are not that respected or gadamgo napud ka. Last year naay counter terrorism training sa Camp Lapu-lapu... Most of the people who joined are over the hill and not "even" physically fit..

Most reservists in Cebu...

Well as you said maybe this is my experience... and I say maybe thats yours... I just shared what I experience here.. I share pud imoha... I deal with the real thing.. Pero one of this days.. Lingaw man pud. But ayaw pud na sayun sayun cla pre kanang nagduwa ug airsoft.. Kaila ka sa mga SWAG? Special Warfare Action Group, our own version of Navy SEALs? Or maybe kaila ra d i ta...MIG ka hehehehe PEACE.....
