    useless jud ang antivirus nimo bro if dili nimo ma pinpoint asa nga PC ang infected.

    the case will be like this:

    example PC1 = infected sa virus
    PC2 = wala
    PC3 = wala
    PC4 = wala

    kay shared forlder man na ilang gi gagamit i expect naa sila wite permission anang shared folder sa imong NAS.

    ang mahitabo kay

    PC2 antivirus will detect the virus then clean it
    PC3 antivirus will detect the virus then clean it
    PC4 antivirus will detect the virus then clean it

    BUT

    PC1 will continue to create the virus again so PC2, PC3, PC4 will detect then clean it then back to PC1 magduplicate nasad sa virus then walay katapusan VIRUS infection -> DETECT -> CLEAN

    magpadayon na sya hangtod dili nimo matukoy then FIX asa jud nga PC or PCs ang infected.

    para easy task = tinapolan style formaton tanan hehe! kapoya

    the easy way to pinpoint asa gikan ang virus.

    1. Turn off every PC on your network
    2. create a "DUMMY account" sa NAS nga naay write+read access sa tanang shared forder for the "DUMMY PC"
    3. use DUMMY PC then boot a LIVE bootable OS like ubuntu linux or DO a fresh install windows XP
    4. Mount all the shared folders
    5. if you use linux lisod ang steps sa pagmount search lang "editing /etc/fstab"
    Under windows = Carefull on not to trigger the autorun.inf sa mga shared folders/network drive if naa man.
    To prevent that, just "Run -> type the drive letter sa network drive, then OK
    6. You can now reveal hidden files and folders with viruses. you can manual clean it but careful not to trigger the viruses OR install an updated antivitus to fix the problem for you.

    7. One by one one pc at a time, turn ON 1 pc then observe if mag automatic ba sya og create worms/virus on its mounted network drives. Monitor the automatic creation of virus exe from your DUMMY PC by doing "regular refresh(every 10seconds or so)"

    8. turn off the other PC then turn ON the other for observation.

    By this method you can conclude and identify that the particular PC is infected. if nothing happens then the PC is clean.

    after you identify the suspect = thats the time you can do what you want to do with it = parusang kamatayan hehe! or reformat or etc...

    mga masters patabang ko ninyo ky naa ko plano add og bag-o nga domain controller
    mao ni ako scenario:

    1.server1 primary DC (win2k3) -existing
    2.server2 child DC (win2k3) - existing
    3.server3 plano nako himoon nako og primary domain (win2008 ) -future

    questions:

    1. pwede ba nako i-demote ang server1 then promote ang server3 pra mahimo og primary DC nga dili apektado ang mga users and securities and policies?

    2. kung ang server3 mahimo nang primary domain dili maapektohan ang mga policies and securities ky win2008 man ang new primary DC then ang rest ky win2k3 child DC?

    3. win2008 and win2k3 DC ok ra ba mka replicate ba sila each other wla bay mga securities and policies issues?

    pls share sa nka suway ani nga scenario
