any recomendation for a loud and clear set up( pang tambay , not for competition)
single 15 dual 2, and a matching amp for the sub, sedan ang taoran.naa nako pang mid high
im looking at a DC audio level 3 na sub and a matching amp , budget is around 35k, way labot box and sprk cable.
any input guys? thanks...

DC subs are crazy.

they are ground shakers, literally.

it's still your preference sir.

I like bass to be punchy, playful, and musical.
I was a bass whore before, I preferred my bass to be profoundly loud. one test i used to do, to whether know that my ride was loud, was to pass in ayala's basement and see how many cars would trip off their alarms. and nodding my head to the bass beats as i pass by the peeps in the parking area. hahahahaha. i was an idiot. yeap, an idiot. hehehehehe

but these days, i prefer my bass to be well balanced with my mid highs.

how do we optimize your 35k budget for a sub and amp

rockord amp T-1500 is out of the question, guess it retails for around 30k.... but what possible amps could give the needed juice to your system? my mind is still searching for brands that are available in the market that could give your sub some justice.

You need a dual 2 15 incher, where in, if this will be paralleled, 1 ohm will be acquired. so you need a 1 ohm stable amp... hmmmmm my head is aching on this one. really. 1 ohm stable amps are priced so high... why not get a dual 4 15 incher, para ma 2 ohm stable... 2 ohm stable amps are easier to find with the right price.


try to search the new x-series line of amps from Audiosystem. it's a car audio company, which specializes in music being played loud. try to backread a page before on this thread, and you'll find a new clipping pertaining to mosconi (one of audiosystem's brands). thanks alvin, by the way! mosconi has paved the way to another world record of 168db... the thing is, the amp is only 300.2, amp is only providing 1800 watts (bridged) imagine that.

-- further info, engineers from STEG have transferred to audiosystem. so the newly developed amps in audiosystem are better than before!

as for the sub,
try other options such as
IDMAX from image dynamics(a darkhorse which rivals JL W6).
it's absolutely priced lower than its JL counterpart.

Audiosystem Subs ---> radeon line.

but if you want a really loud system, DC subs can do the job for ya!

kung mga 40k , naa na kaha? all i need is a single 15 na dual 2, para 1 0hm sya .

dc level 3 i think naa sa 20t plus, plus an amp na class d na could give 1.5 to 2 k at 1 ohm.

do you know knsa dealer sa audio system ?

hehehehehe... we have the same projekt in mind. Loud and clear.. pero murag madugay pa ning projekt nako, due to some budgetary constraints...

with the needed juice that you want to achieve para makabunal kag sakto sir,
try to consider the following factors as well:

1. Powercable gauge

2. Alternator
** needed amperage
** additional alternator if necessary

3. Batteries
** needed battle gear
** deep cycle batts, such as optima, stinger, etc....

4. Power Capacitors
** some say its needed, some say they rely better on batteries

importante ang kuryente sa loud and clear, kay basin dili nimo ma optimize imong
gears kung dili sufficient imong kuryente.
