I'd like to see to at least half of the season to lose hope in DAR. Maybe the shift of attention to Randle and Clarkson would be a good thing for Russell. And he's 19. Hopefully, he gets out of his funk.

But it's true that the guy doesn't exert the same kind of effort other rookies have done during the preseason and early this season. Hopefully, the management demands more from him-- effort-wise. The guy's gotta earn his stripes.

I'd like to see Anthony Brown start at SF, and let Russell come off the bench. that's the line up that gave us W's in the Preseason. Lakers need help in perimeter defense and Brown is arguably the best perimeter defender in the roster.

I really believe Anthony Brown can be something. He is athletic and plays within his game which is a 3 and D guy. I don't know if he can be an all-star but at least he will be a DeMarre Carroll. I think if the Lakers' record after the all-star break shows they cannot make the playoffs, I wish they would go full youth movement in the games.

I would like to see a starting line-up of:
Russell
Clarkson
Brown
Randle
Hibbert (plays C by default)
Then play off the bench Larry Nance Jr and Lou Williams.

I love this. Russell makes two threes and is finally starting to get into rhythm, but then Byron calls a timeout and benches him.

this is why Russell will never amount to anything playing for the Lakers/Scott and with Kobe. I feel sorry for him. we might've as well traded away that 2nd pick if we're not even going to use him.
