I've been in this industry for around 2 years now and I don't see this.
It's just purely with the persons themselves - not the industry.
Look at this:
1. A huge percentage of the call center agents are from rich families - meaning, 'liberated'
2. The schedule suggests that the agents are out of their families' control - they can do WTF ever they want AND they can hop into a cab and say "'nong, didto sa.." if you get my point.
3. The leisure - they can afford sh*t
4. The pride - agents think they are (or at least near) Americans and f*** like the latter-mentioned
Maybe that answers
the question.
But to label the call center industry as one that promotes the spread of HIV/AIDS is just wrong.
Again, it's the PERSON not the JOB.
