Take note: During the operation of your Barrel Filter, you will observe bubbles coming out from bottom and up the gravel. Don't be alarmed that is normal! This barrel filtration system is a biological nature indeed... The aeration from the bottom all the way up the Japanese mat will help the good bacteria to cultivate and multiply fast. Making your barrel filter efficient!

Barrel Filter Care:
1. Drain the unwanted waste daily.
2. Backwash the barrel filter every 3-6month
3. Check for leakage everyday especially on the pipes. Nobody is perfect!
